Smart Remote is designed to operate locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, distribute, or sell your personal data or usage metrics to external servers. The application does not include any third-party analytics or tracking software.
2. Local Network Access
To function as a remote control, Smart Remote requests network permissions (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE). This access is strictly used to scan your local Wi-Fi network to discover and establish a direct connection with supported Smart TVs (e.g., via mDNS or SSDP). No data leaves your local network during this process.
3. App Permissions
The app requires the VIBRATE permission to provide haptic feedback when interacting with the remote interface. This is processed entirely on-device.
